In today’s world of social media, marketing and search engine optimization accumulating online reviews from patients is critical. I often hear dentists discussing many topics related to online reviews like how to get more, the total number they have, the number of stars and of course how to get rid of the negative ones. With all of this conversation I rarely if ever heard dentists discussing the relationship between what patients say and their vision and philosophy for the office.
One of the critical elements of a successful vision and mission is to start with why you are doing what you do. This fundamental question is then answered through the execution of your mission statement. When I read the reviews we get from our patients I want to hear in their words the vision, philosophy and mission of our office. When their words echo our intentions it means we are successfully accomplishing the goals we set out as a team. The systems we put in place actually produce the outcomes we had hoped for.
It also tells me this is a patient who can share with their friends and families the essence of why they would want to become a patient in our office. I value every referral, but there is a big difference between a new patient who calls after a co-worker tells them we take their insurance and someone who calls because a co-worker tells them we are the most caring and compassionate dental office they have ever been to. So I would ask that you read every review and ask yourself if you can hear your vision and mission in what was written.
I think our feedback from our patients definatly echos our goals that we all strive for! I am so glad to be apart of a team of incredible woman who do such a great job at caring for our patients! Keep up the good work Dr Brady! :)
