With this week being Thanksgiving, being thankful and expressing my gratitude is top of mind. Many people are using Facebook and other forms of social media to express their appreciation for everything from small everyday events to life changing gifts. I think most of these are part of a “Gratitude Project”, and it is an incredible gift if you have not put this practice into place. Each day identify one thing you are grateful for, large or small, and express that outwardly. Just the recognition of all the gifts we have makes getting through each day a happier, brighter more joyful journey. Sharing our gratitude with others spreads that joyfulness all around us.
On this Thanksgiving there are so many things I am grateful for. A life full with the love of family and friends. A Team that is a family and patients who we are deeply related to. Health, happiness, and accomplishment. The gift of making a difference. The list goes on and on.
Whether this week is a formal opportunity to give thanks or not “What Are You Thankful For In Your Life?’
I am thankful for having a wonderful mentor like you, Lee. Thanks for helping me be a better dentist!
